Communication

By accepting these General Terms, I accept that EAPRIL sends me on a regular basis interesting updates and information about the Association.

EAPRIL Memberships

• EAPRIL memberships are not refundable and cannot be transferred to someone else.
• Please note that payments should be made without charges for the beneficiary.
• You are not an EAPRIL member until we have received your payment.
• EAPRIL Student membership applicants need to send a proof of their student status consisting of a letter signed by their supervisor/coordinator with clear indication of the period of their student enrollment. Please note that in order to approve your Student membership, both payment and proof are needed.
• If you are entitled to a refund, a refund will be made to the same credit card that has been used for the payment.

Cancellation Policy

EAPRIL Conference Registrations & Dinner Tickets:

• In case of cancellation by the participant before October 15^th, we charge 40% of the conference fee and/or dinner ticket. A cancellation must be done by sending an e-mail to info@eapril.org stating your name and order number.
• In case of cancellation by the participant after October 15^th, there will be no refund of the conference fee nor the dinner ticket.
• Conference registrations cannot be transferred to someone else. Transferring the conference dinner ticket to somebody else is allowed, without intervention by the EAPRIL office.

School Visit Tickets:

• School visit tickets are non refundable

Due to costs already incurred and to safekeep the association, there will be no refunds of the conference registration fees nor dinner tickets in case of a cancellation of the conference by EAPRIL when an extraordinary event or circumstances beyond the control of EAPRIL occur including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, lock outs, delays or disruptions in transport, acts of war, riots, fire, epidemics, pandemics, travel restrictions, orders, by-laws or regulations from the government or administration.

Extra events in cooperation with third parties (e.g. webinars, fishbowls, thematic innovation meetings, funding alerts, ...)

There is no refund for fishbowls, webinars, funding alerts, thematic innovation meetings, or other extra events organised by EAPRIL.

EAPRIL will only share personal details with third parties when this is needed to ensure the participant's participation to the event (e.g. online or offline access to the event), co-organised by the third party. In this case, only the minimum information needed will be shared. EAPRIL will not share details with third parties for commercial use.

Please be aware that your (credit) card will be charged immediately after the purchase has been done.

Insurance

The conference organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, for loss of, or damage to property belonging to conference participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the conference. Please check the validity of your own travel insurance.

EAPRIL excludes all liability or obligation when an extraordinary event or circumstances beyond the control of EAPRIL occur that prevents it from actually hosting the conference/event.
