The EAPRIL Best Research and Practice Project (BR&PP) Award recognises projects by practitioner researchers in the field of education, learning and instruction, and training and development, which exceptionally contribute to educational practice.

Best Poster Award 2019
Each year EAPRIL also reaches out a Best Poster Award during the EAPRIL Conference. An Awarding Committee of 8 senior researchers visits each poster presentation and selects the winner, based on the following criteria
1. Overall Research
* Research question is impactful and relevant for practice
* Research methods are appropriately chosen for the research question
* Research methods are well-designed and executed
* Research results are correctly presented
* Appropriate conclusions are drawn / do not go beyond the date presented
2. Visual Design
* Well-organised, structured, easy to follow
* Lay-out, design and colour combinations, e.g. font is readable from a distance, attractive design,
* If available, tables, figures and/or graphs are supportive and clear
* Grammar / spelling is correct
* Poster Presentation is appropriate for the diverse audience (researchers, practitioners, students,…)
3. Quality of Oral Presentation
* Clarity of message
* Innovative / dynamic / interactive manner of presenting (vs. standard talk)
* Quality of response to audience’ questions
